The Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy is one of Australia’s most renowned dance education institutions. Established for over 30 years, the studio continues to build a reputation for excellence in every aspect of Classical Ballet, Contemporary & Jazz. The Full Time Dance Study Program offered by the studio offers opportunities for students to become prepared for a professional career in dance. This program attracts an increasing number of students, with many graduates going on to study or perform with the most prestigious companies both in Australia and Internationally. Among those who have continued in dance related careers, the studio is proud to acknowledge students who now dance with companies in England, Germany, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
A former student, Jenna Roberts (pictured above) is currently First Artist with the Royal Birmingham Ballet Company. Jenna graduated from the Full Time Program and gained her Solo Seal in 2001. She was awarded a Full Scholarship to the Royal Ballet School in London.

After you graduated where did you go? I studied at the school of American Ballet (the official school of the New York City Ballet) in New York for 3 years.
Where you now and what are are you doing? I have recently moved to Miami, Flordia to be an apprentice in the Miami City Ballet. I am currently working on George Balanchine’s ‘Western Symphony’ which I will be doing on tour in Los Angeles June, 2006.

After you graduated where did you go? I am in Perth studying Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University. I left The Australian Ballet School at the end of 2003 to pursue a career in health sciences.
Where you now and what are are you doing? I have just finished my first degree.
