Mia started dancing at the age of 10 at the Noosa Professional Dance Academy in Queensland. She commenced full time training at the Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy in 2005.
From 2006 until January 2008, Mia danced at the Tanz Akademie, Zurich, Switzerland where she was the only first year studnet chosen to represent the school at the Ballet Festival de Spoleto, and placed fourth.
Mia completed her Diploma in Dance Performance at the National College of Dance in 2008.
Mia is considering taking up an offer of scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York for further training in 2009.
Mia will also be performing with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in America.
